I didn’t know it then, but that first taste of turning an idea into real money sparked a lifelong obsession with how businesses really work. My path wasn’t exactly conventional. It took me from waiting tables to diving headfirst into the world of finance.

Along the way, I got the qualifications. I’m a Chartered Management Accountant and I have a PhD in Corporate Finance, but my real education came from the trenches. I’ve been the only woman in the room, I’ve navigated the corporate bullshit, learned how to fight my corner and make the numbers tell a story of power and potential.

I saw so many brilliant ideas, especially from women, get lost because they couldn’t translate their vision into the language investors speak. I’m here to change that.
